    Bench Buddy Shower Curtain

Curtain mounted easily. The flap inserted in the bench slot readily with the weights. There was no significant leakage out during a shower. Satisfactory so far.

Great Idea Does Not Work For Me

Posted by Connie L on 26th Aug 2013

I was delighted to find that someone has manufactured this shower curtain. Unfortunately, there are a couple of ways in which it is not adequate for my needs. It is polyester, which does not adhere to a fiberglass shower enclosure so there is leakage on the outside edges. The "slits" for the bench slot are cut very high and a refinement of some velcro closures making those slits adjustable would be an improvement, I think. I want to leave a regular vinyl shower curtain on the rod for those not using the transfer bench and the otherwise good idea of putting the shower curtain on without hooks or rod removal makes that impossible as they don't line up with the standard hook arrangement. So, I have gone back to a vinyl curtain I had "slit" to a custome height myself before finding this one online. The problem is really not the curtain as much as it is the bench. Not sure why they would place a drain slot such that it has to drain onto the tub edge or even outside the tub. Maybe my tub is not as wide as more recent models. Great idea and love the weighted insert. I'm sure for others it works just fine.
