17in shower chair
this chair was purchased for a 5'0 elderly woman with intellectual disabilities. this chair is AMAZING!! we purchased the 17in height chair, which was the lowest and its PERFECT!! its easy to get her in and out, also pushes smooth into the shower and breaks are amazing, a must purchase

Fabulous Product
All exaggeration aside, this product is absolutely fabulous and it is immediately making a huge difference in the comfort and quality of life for my 94 year old father who is suddenly wrestling with a very painful health problem that severely limits his mobility after a lifetime of being very strong and robust. The ETAC chair is indeed especially good for use as a commode by a male given the generous opening that offers plenty of room for the whole urinary “apparatus,” this in marked contrast to other chairs which simply weren’t close to being sized properly, working great for Mom but being close to useless for Dad.

Life changing
My 95 year old mom is receiving around the clock care in her own independent living apartment. She has many adaptations but nothing to make toileting and cleaning was easy, even with a hoyer lift. This chair makes using the toilet easy (even though I bought the pan) backing over the toilet, back and arms can be removed so getting her in and out of the chair to her recliner or bed is another easy task. This can even pop a wheelie to get over the lip of her shower, so she can be easily showered. I continue to use the word easy because now it doesn't take 2 caregivers to change, dress or get her into the shower. This seemed expensive but the quality of life it affords my mom is worth every cent! I fine piece of equipment for a homebound, immobile person!

Over the commode chair
This is the best chair ever for my 97 year old mother's needs. I had to have a narrow size to fit through the door, 4 locking swivel wheels for maneuverability, a deep cut-out to accommodate a sink hose, and the ability to clear a standard toilet. Transferring onto the toilet was almost impossible with her mobility issues. This chair is a game changer. Toileting is now safer, easier, cleaner, and more comfortable. Etac is the only company I could find that carried a chair that would work in her duplex. It also came almost fully assembled. Took it out of the box, added the the armrests, and it was ready to go! Great customer service, great quality, reasonable delivery time. I would highly recommend this chair. It's keeping her out of the nursing home and making me and my other caregivers extremely happy.
